Miniplane Frame Size and Type Guide

How to recognize the type and the size of the Miniplane paramotor

Here is all that you need for a good choice of spare parts.

  • First, you need to know which frame model you have :

On the left, the Classic frame made before the year 2015, on the right the model 2015 and following.

  • Then, you need to know the size of the frame
    • Classic Model

      The distance from the ground of the first horizontal tube of the frame is different according to the size.

      The M size is 13 cm, the L is 18 cm, and the XL is 22 cm.

    • 2015, 2016 and M4 PSF Models

      The main part of the frame (left) is the same in all the size

      The different sizes are made by changing the dimension of the low part, the side and top sticks (right)

      The measures of the frame correspond to the following dimensions :

    • 2007 frame or before

      The frame was modified on year 2007,

      the 25mm tube where the PSF spacer is inserted is welded in a different position visible on the following pictures:

      The spacer arms PSF do not have the same dimensions. If you order the arms need to first check what is the frame, otherwise the harness is placed in an incorrect position that can create instability and discomfort.
